Edge details or profiles
We offer a wide variety edge details or profiles.
We recommend:-
- for kitchen countertops of 30mm thickness a small bevel or pencil of 2mm to the top and underside, to show the stone at its most substantial thickness.
- for mitred worktops we suggest a small pencil or bevel along the mitred join.
- for 20/20mm or 30/30mm planted worktops a v-groove along the join in order to hide the resin used to bond the pieces together.
- for bathroom countertops or surrounds more elaborate edges are possible, such as the Ogee or Lamb's Tongue, through to the Hilton or perhaps thickened edges.
A selection of edge finishes are shown in two and three dimensions here, but many other special edges can be made to order.
