Quartzite
Quartzite is a natural stone which tends to have a translucent look.
As such it gives a warm fell. We recommend it for worktops and some
internal cladding. It is hard wearing but, like most stones, it is
porous and so needs treatment with a sealant. If it is used in wet areas, tanking is also required.
We have used Azul Macauba for bathrooms including floor and wall
cladding and shaped shower trays. We have also fitted several worktops in
Quartzite.
